2024 Google and Yahoo Sender Requirements
Starting today, Google and Yahoo are rolling out new email sender requirements. If you're sending bulk emails and you haven't done your homework, this will have a significant effect on your email deliverability. And nobody wants to end up as spam.

Starting now: Google’s requirements go into effect.
April - Google will start to reject a percentage of non-compliant emails - gradually increasing the rejection rate. And if you're a repeat offender? Well, there's every possibility that they'll blacklist your domain.
June - One-click unsubscribes need to be in place to prevent being blocked.
Now, to be compliant you’ll need:
A dedicated sending domain
An authenticated DMARC policy
One-click to unsubscribe
Low spam complaints
Your email platform should have reached out about what they've done for you, and what you need to do yourself. If you need a hand just sing out.
The things we're being told to implement have always been best practice (eg sending to small, segmented lists to reduce spam complaints), but now they're a requirement.
